Make a paste from a crushed clove, cover your sting with it, and place a plaster over the top – the garlic juices will get to work soothing the discomfort. Cut a slice and place it directly over the sting, or squeeze out as much juice as you can and soak a tissue in the lemon, holding it over the affected area. I do like that it’s not a cocktail of chemicals, that we have to worry about our kids touching or getting on our hands and in our food. It’s nice that the warm weather has subsided a little, so there are far less mosquitos now, but I’m also relieved that we’ll be prepared come next summer. Honey is one of the best natural home remedies for treating painful wasp stings.
When to seek medical attention
Try to avoid being stung to prevent these uncomfortable symptoms. Most of the time, large local reactions subside on their own over the course of a week or so. Wasp stings are common, especially during the warmer months when people are outside for longer periods of time.
Mix 1 tablespoon of baking soda with water and put it on the area of the sting it reduces swelling and pain. This stuff is simply the very best wasp spray I’ve ever used. Don’t even bother with the other ones or call an exterminator (& spend hundreds of $). This stuff kills the wasps immediately including the nest if you spray directly at it from a safe feet away. I had a few wasp nests creep up around my house.
The bites healed up within a week or two, instead of 4-6 weeks. Wasps were in a difficulty place in my overhang by the door. Normally I just use the hose and spray them down. This colony was larger and being in that difficult place. It is very expensive compared to other brands and probably out of reach for many consumers.

 Not only that, I am crazy allergic where I’ve had welts the size of a small dinner plates on my legs! I got bitten by yellow jackets at couple of places. Before I received this product, I was already treating it with a dermatologist prescribed ointment for skin conditions which helped it quite a bit already.
